Robert Stimson, Vice President
Bob Stimson directs the interface between Global Trade Development Group and its clients and oversees program management.
Bob has a 35 year background in industry, business and engineering in Asia (East, Southeast and South), Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the former Soviet Union.
He has built regional manufacturing, sales-marketing and product support-maintenance activities for large corporations and medium-sized companies involving industrial-engineered products, packaging industry machinery, water treatment systems and contract manufacturing services.
Most recently, Bob planned, negotiated and implemented a $20M direct investment in China for the private owner of a $180M contract manufacturer with competencies in metal fabrication, stamping, molded plastic and tooling.
Bob holds graduate degrees in international management and business administration from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and Arizona State University. He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute. He is a decorated, former Marine officer and graduate of the United States Marine Corps’ intermediate-level, professional officer’s school for Majors and Captains.
Bob has resided and worked in several Asian countries and speaks regularly at international business forums.
