Gary Wagerson, CEO
Gary Wagerson founded Global Trade Development Group in 2001 during the formation of the European Common Market. Gary’s extensive background in international business provides the foundation to lead clients in their global expansion efforts. Global Trade Development Group expanded into India in the early 1990s and Mexico in 2000.
Prior to the formation of Global TDG, Gary spent 35 years developing and building a Midwest-based international business, sales and consulting firm – Wagerson & Associates, which was formed in 1982.
Gary has led several supply chain and logistics missions to India and Mexico. Most recently he established local logistics operations in Mexico to support his clients.
He also served as Sales and Marketing director for a subsidiary of PPG Industries in the reinforced plastics and building materials industries.
Gary is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Business Administration.
