Global Trade Development Group’s services are organized in a modular format allowing clients to work with Global TDG on stand-alone items or sequentially in phases depending on client preference. This approach allows clients to proceed with international initiatives and engage our services incrementally in line with their planning and budgets. We also work on custom assignments to meet your needs.
The Basic Modules are:
- Business information and intelligence – at the regional, national, and sub-national levels
- Situation analysis – evaluate client’s existing situation, plans and underlying assumptions
- Situation estimates – develop situation estimates, strategic alternatives and recommendations
- Plan development – formulate courses of action with supporting budgets, timelines, measurable objectives and concurrent due diligence; covers both the strategic and tactical levels and the pre-operational and operational phases, as applicable
- Plan implementation – oversight and control of plan elements during execution; continuing due diligence; development and phase-in of client managers, handover and integration into the greater company
- Post-implementation audit and assessment – conduct performance review of the client’s international initiative vis-à-vis the annual plan; recommend necessary corrective actions; create an updated assessment and recommendations regarding the external situation (e.g. competitive, market, host government, political and foreign exchange risk)
- Customized engagements per client needs – For clients who have unique needs, we can develop a customized program.
In providing our services, we work as Client Advisor and/or as Representative of the owner(s), board of directors or executive management depending on client preference(s). The distinction will depend on the degree of involvement by Global Trade Development Group.
As Advisor, we serve as an attached, supporting staff. We guide (advise) clients throughout their international initiative, from beginning to end, while direct managerial activities are retained by client managers.
In the role of Representative we continue to lead, but also participate in the initiative more directly with hands-on assistance. The client delegates responsibility and authority in specific areas to Global TDG. As Representative, we actively work with the client’s owners, management and employees. Rather than a supporting staff, we become an extension of the client’s management team.
